2017 Hidden Madness

TBA -- Take your best shot on 15 in this bracket-style, one-shot elimination event. In this elimination skills event, 64 players complete in a match play event where the player with the closest shot to the hole wins and advances to the next round. As in the NCAA basketball tournament, players are seeded by handicap in four 16-player brackets.

The winning player advances to the next round.

Bracket selection takes place in the Tavern Wednesday, March 16 at 6:00 pm.

B-Team Organizational Meeting

Join us Saturday, April 1 at 8:00 am to review the upcoming B-Team season. The kitchen will be open for breakfast while we discuss league rules and other frequently asked questions about participating in Hidden Creek's B-Team.

All MGA members with a course handicap between 5 and 16 are eligible to play.

Topics to be covered include schedule, costs, format, rules as well as communications plans for the new season.

Following the meeting at 9:30 those interested may join in an intra-club match captained by Mark West and Allen McGreevy.

2017 MGA Cup

April 1-October 10 The MGA Cup is a season-long match play tournament. Beginning in early April the tournament is comprised of two major parts, the Initial Rounds and the Final Rounds. During the Initial Rounds, players are flighted in eight-man brackets seeded by USGA Index. Bracket winners advance to Final Bracket of Match Play. Shoot-Out in July for Third Round Losers (The Best of the Rest!) Finals - 4 Rounds of Match Play (16 Players ).

2017 Green Coat Masters

April 21, 22 and 23 -- Since 1980, the Green Coat has been the first major of the MGA season and is considered by many to be the most prestigious. This year marks the 38th time members will compete for the coveted Green Coat.

The event features a unique scramble format. On the first day players compete in a traditional four-man team scramble format.

Breakfast Tournament #1

May 7 The Hidden Creek Men's Golf Association (MGA) organizes and sponsors, in coordination with the Pro Shop, three Breakfast Tournaments each year. The MGA started these tournaments several years ago with the objective of affording members the opportunity to play with golfers they normally might not meet or play with. 2017 Mens Member-Guest

June 15, 16, 17 -- From year to year the Hidden Creek Member-Guest continues to surpass expectations and top the performances of previous year's events.

The Member-Guest is a three-day, four-ball competition similar in format to the Member-Member.

Teams compete in five nine-hole matches within six-team flights. On Friday, June 16 each team plays three matches. Saturday, June 17 each team plays two matches.

Breakfast Tournament #2

June 25 -- The breakfast tournament series offers players of all levels a chance to meet other members and hone your skills in a variety of team formats.

Players sign up in the pro shop. The pro shop pairs teams based on handicap.
