2019 Charlie Good Final Event

Sunday, October 27 - We close our season and honor one of the MGA’s most dedicated servants, Charlie Good. This tournament will return to Breakfast Tournament team format. The Hidden Creek Breakfast Tournaments, conceived and originated by Charlie Good, provide a season long competition which offers the opportunity for all MGA golfers to meet, socialize and play competitive golf with a variety of partners chosen by computer.

Daily prizes will be awarded for the low net teams. Season prizes will be awarded at the end of the year to those players with the best season records based on a point system which includes a participation bonus.

The format for the 2019 Charlie Good is Modified Stableford. The full 18-hole Stableford scores for all four players will be computed separately and then added to determine the team score. Only net scores will be used.

Scoring is as follows: net double bogey or worse=0; net bogey=1point; net par=2 points; net birdie=3 points; net eagle=4 points; etc. Players receive 100% of their Course Handicap. Play is from the white tees.

(EXCEPTION: Players whose age plus gold tee handicap equals 80 or more may play from the gold tees. NOTE: Qualified players electing to play from gold tees must declare at check-in to allow proper preparation of scorecards, and, in accordance with USGA recommended rules for competitions, will have two strokes deducted from their gold tee handicaps.)
